Early one morning, on a recent visit to Shrewsbury, Shropshire, I grabbed my camera and headed down to photograph this wonderful little garden, a former quarry, known affectionately as 'The Dingle'. I must have been first through the gates at it's 8 am opening time, so the light was still nice and it was lovely and peaceful!
It was around the time of the Shrewsbury Flower Show, so the displays were looking at their best and the crowds were sure to follow... good show!
My camera gear included the Canon 5D MKIII, 24-70mm, 70-200mm L II, 1.4 x converter, cable release and Manfrotto tripod.

It's fair to say, this is a pretty special place and since I love being outside, it was a perfect morning for me, thanks to the Shrewsbury Town Council and all the garden staff!
